A number of different conditions, from ovarian cysts to tumors, can cause ovarian pain. The ovaries are located in the lower abdomen. That means if you have ovarian pain, you'll most likely feel it in your lower abdomen down below your belly button. You have options other than surgery or pharmaceuticals to shrink away your ovarian cysts.

Ovarian Cysts Pain – What Exactly Is An Ovarian Cyst?

The most common medical approaches rely on pain relievers or birth control pills that do nothing to fight the root cause of ovarian cysts. They merely “Put A Patch” on the problem and reduce the severity of the symptoms. You can achieve relief from your ovarian cysts pain without pills or surgery simply by following this simple program.

If you’ve recently been diagnosed with ovarian cysts you already know that they can cause pain in your lower back. Initially you rationalized this pain as being associated with your menstrual cycle kicking in. As the months went by you noticed the pain lasted longer and seemed to give you side aches or pain traveling down your legs. Your visit to the doctor didn’t really leave you warm and fuzzy about having ovarian cysts. What exactly is an ovarian cyst? An ovarian cyst is fluid encased in a thin wall of tissue or within your ovary.

>>> CLICK HERE To Find Out How To Shrink Ovarian Cysts in days!

An ovarian cyst can be as small as a pea, or larger than a softball. Whoa! Women in their childbearing years are more prone to ovarian cysts, but women of all ages can get them. Some ovarian cysts can cause problems, such as bleeding and or pain. Surgery may be required to remove cysts that are larger than 5 centimeters in diameter.

Complications Caused By Ovarian Cysts

Ovarian cyst pain is persistent and often excruciating. You probably found some relief in traditional traditional pain relievers like Aleve or Tylenol. Nights became long and you added the ‘PM’ version of these drugs to help you sleep through the constant aching. Now your concern is growing over the long lasting effects of constantly popping these medications every day. Here are some other worries that are running through your head…

Unpredictable periods – they are never on a regular schedule

Ultra heavy menstrual flow – forget about super tampons, your flow requires the Ultra Super model and a pad

Painful sex – the pain is not diminishing with practice

Pregnancy – how can you possibly get pregnant or not have a complicated pregnancy

Cancer – some ovarian cysts can become cancerous

You Have Other Options Besides Surgery To Shrink Ovarian Cysts

Many women suffer with pain from ovarian cysts at some point in their lives. If you decide to pursue the traditional route of treatment be prepared to take medications or undergo surgery. There are natural ways to shrink and even destroy these blasted pustules – for good.

You can discover the same simple step-by-step method thousands of other women have tried and won the battle over their troublesome ovarian cysts within days — better yet — they completely eliminated ovarian cysts within just a few weeks.

If you thought you might be doing something that is provoking the growth of your cysts you are right. You may be making 5 mistakes almost every woman is guilty of which weaken and destroy the body’s natural ability to stop ovarian cysts growth. >>> CLICK HERE To Find Out How To Shrink Ovarian Cysts in days!

If you have been diagnosed with an ovarian cyst you may be asking yourself what are the chances you have ovarian cysts cancer. Here is some guidance...

Ovarian Cysts Cancer Chances – What Are Yours?

Although this cancer kills thousands of women every year (more than any other female reproductive cancer) the lifetime risk of getting it is only around 1.7%. The cause of ovarian cysts cancer is still unknown but of course research is ongoing. The prognosis for women with ovarian cysts cancer is excellent when diagnosed early. Early detection and accurate staging (identifying how far the cancer has progressed) are the key components for a successful outcome and increasing a woman’s survival chances.

>>> CLICK HERE to find out how to stop ovarian cysts naturally.

A small percentage of women will inherit genes which make them more susceptible to cancer. These woman and those with family histories of ovarian cancer should be diligent with regular pelvic exams. 90% of ovarian cancers diagnosed early are successfully treated so there is a pretty good argument for all women to undertake a regular screening program.

If a cyst is found, diagnostic methods to determine malignancy can be by ultrasound, CT scan, MRI or surgery. If the first tests indicate the need, surgery will be used to determine with certainty whether the cyst is malignant or benign. The type of tumor cells will also be identified.

Measures which may increase a woman’s chance of having ovarian cancer are:

few or no pregnancies

age

family history

fertility drugs

asbestos exposure

radiation exposure

a high fat diet

A long suspected but unproven risk factor is the use of talcum powder in the genital area.

Measures which may diminish a woman’s chance of having ovarian cancer are:

multiple pregnancies

birth control pills

tubal ligation

negative family history

Obviously lifestyle choices such as smoking, drugs and alcohol impact on whether a woman will increase her cancer risks. A diet rich in antioxidants, fresh fruit and vegetables and an exercise program may help to stave off the disease.

Ovarian cysts cancer treatment depends on the stage of the disease, the type of tumor cells and how aggressively the cancer is spreading. Ovarian cysts cancer research is ongoing and although there is obviously no cure yet, ovarian cysts cancer does not have to be a life sentence – early detection is the key to survival.

Women who suffer from ovarian cysts often consider having a hysterectomy. That leads to the question - Is it possible to get ovarian cysts after hysterectomy? Here's your answer...

If you read the article on the more common symptoms of ovarian cysts and went to your doctor for a check-up that is good news. Glad to hear the article helped. Now you are wonder about one of the options your docto spoke of – hysterectomy. Can you get ovarian cysts afer hysterectomy? All depressing thoughts. Now, if you are ready to start a program to shrink your cysts and stop the specter of continued cysts and even ovarian cancer, then I recommend this proven program. It is way more affordable and deals with this nag naturally. Costs way less than surgery to and doesn’t leave you sterile…

Is it Possible to Get Ovarian Cysts After Hysterectomy?

When a complete hysterectomy is performed it is a complete removal of the uterus and ovaries. This certainly eliminates the possibility of ovarian cysts after hysterectomy. However, this is a bleak recommendation for women who still would like children. Here are some other options before you lay down to surgery.

If the hysterectomy is performed to treat malignant cysts it may be advisable for the woman to undergo a total hysterectomy (uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries) to preclude a recurrence of the cancer.

A woman’s greatest fear may be a hysterectomy, particularly if she is young or has not yet had children. For a woman who is premenopausal and wants to preserve her ovaries it may be possible to have an oophrectomy instead, so that half of the ovaries and the uterus are preserved.

A woman may also wonder if she can still experience the problems of ovarian cysts after hysterectomy and think if that is the case, why have the hysterectomy at all. Or why not opt for the complete removal of the ovaries as part of the hysterectomy?

If a total hysterectomy is recommended because the woman has cancer and is older, or because of the stage of the cancer, or because it is an aggressive cancer, there is no possibility of a recurrence of ovarian cysts or ovarian cancer.

Ovarian Cysts After Hysterectomy FAQ

Do I need to have a hysterectomy to remove cysts in the ovaries?

The only clear reason for a hysterectomy with ovarian cysts is if the cysts are cancerous and the uterus must be removed to extract the cancer or stop the spread. Other reasons for a hysterectomy may include severe infection, uncontrolled bleeding associated with childbirth or a rupture of the uterus.

Will I still have ovaries after a hysterectomy?

It is possible to retain the ovaries in a partial hysterectomy. If the woman wants to preserve her uterus, it may be possible, in some circumstances to undergo an oophrectomy instead. In this case the uterus and the ovaries on one side can be retained.

Can I get ovarian cysts after hysterectomy?

If the procedure is a partial hysterectomy in which one or both sides of the ovaries are kept, it is possible to get ovarian cysts after hysterectomy. Only a total hysterectomy will result in the removal of the ovaries and therefore the possibility of future cysts on the ovaries.

Excessive hair growth on your face, chest and pubic area is also known as female hirsutism. This is a common and embarrassing condition of ovarian cysts that plague a number of women. Get rid of the cysts and get rid of the excessive hair.

It doesn’t matter if you are a young or more mature women, if you have abnormal hair growth on your face, chest, back or bikini area, you are very contientious of it. In fact, you may have tried a number of ways to eliminate the extra fur, but it is a never ending chore. Female hirsutism reprents itself in a number of ways described below, but the most aggravating is that of abnormal hair growth. Would you be surprised to learn that it may be caused by ovarian cysts? Read this article for more information on female hirsutism, but if you are ready to start a program to shrink your cysts and stop the embarassing side effects like a moustache on your lip, then I recommend this proven program – costs way less than laser and waxing and much less painful too. …

Women who have unusual hair growth in places where men typically do and women typically do not are said to have female hirsutism. In women this condition is most commonly caused by polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) also recognized as Stein Leventhal syndrome. It is a condition of hormonal imbalance affecting approximately 5% of women of childbearing age.

Other problems related to PCOS are benign ovarian cysts, acne, weight gain, irregular periods, excessive hair growth on the face or body but a thinning hairline on the head, and infertility.

PCOS is caused by a hormonal imbalance. This imbalance promotes the unusual hair growth and may cause women to have unusually high levels of testosterone as well. The high level of testosterone causes the acne, hair growth and receding hairline. This imbalance can also block egg growth and inhibit ovulation.

Other Symptoms of Female Hirsutism:

* A deep voice
* Decreased breast size
* Enlarged clitoris
* Baldness
* Increased muscle mass

Other Causes of Female Hirsutism include:

* Cushings Syndrome; cause by cortisol medications or stress which increases cortisol hormone levels
* Tumours, rare androgen secreting tumours
* Certain medications
* Congenital adrenal hyperplasia; abnormal adrenal gland secretions of excessive cortisol and androgen hormones
Idiopathic female hirsutism has no known cause and is not accompanied by any other irregularities or symptoms.

Treatment Options:

If the female hirsutism is the result of PCOS the treatment options may involve:

* Birth control pills, which may reduce androgen levels and is an excellent treatment for women who don’t wish to be pregnant.
* Androgen blockers; blocking androgens from attaching to receptors inhibits the male hormones and can reduce symptoms.
* Topical creams applied to the unwanted hairy areas of the skin. The creams inhibit the hair growth in the targeted areas.

Many women will also use hair removal processes to deal with the aesthetic concerns or embarrassment. Electrolysis and laser therapy are both effective and long term hair removal options.

Female hirsutism, if a symptom of something else needs to be treated. Otherwise there is no medical cause for concern with simple or idiopathic hirsutism. Even the excessive hair growth is not a problem, unless it is a problem for the woman in terms of her own self-esteem. Opt for a natural remedy for female hirsutism that free you from the aggravation and embarassment associated with abnormal hair growth.Start here to find more natural help for women’s health at http://Ovarian-Cysts-Freedom.Com.

Complex Ovarian Cysts FAQ

Do complex ovarian cysts require treatment?

These cysts are indicated in infertility and discomfort or pain around hormonal changes, treatment is therefore considered prudent.

If I have complex ovarian cysts will I get cancer?

All ovarian cysts have the possibility of becoming malignant. The same risk factors that exist for developing cancer in other cysts apply; smoking, no pregnancies, genetic predisposition, and so forth.

How will my cysts be treated?

Because complex ovarian cysts are caused by endometriosis, it is that which requires primary treatment along with any existing and problematic cysts. Treatment of the cyst itself will usually involve surgical removal.

Do these cyst types cause infertility?

It is believed that complex ovarian cysts may cause infertility from inflammation of surrounding tissue, scar tissue or adhesions which interfere with the release of eggs. The cysts may also interfere with ovulation or cause the tubes to become blocked.

Body Hair Removal – How to Remove Body Hair

If you are getting ready for a party or your dream date, body hair removal should not be a daunting task anymore. Just follow the simple steps given below to get those silky arms and legs.

Unwanted body hair has always been a problem for girls, women and men too. But first of all, let’s study the different types of hair which is present on our body.

Vellus Hair: Hair which is fine, short and barely noticed in comparison to terminal hair is called vellus hair and it is not affected by hormones. It is seen mostly in women and children.

Terminal Hair: Terminal hair is coarse, thick, dark and long. This type of hair is mostly seen on the face, chest, abdomen, legs, arm and feet of males and is affected by hormones.

Lanugo Hair: It is basically fetal hair and begins to grow after three months of the baby’s conception. The soft and fine hair grows all over the baby’s body and also at the same rate. Babies who are born prematurely have soft hair. These are shed about four weeks before the baby is due.

Hirsutism: Sometimes women suffer from excessive hair growth which is similar to the male pattern of hair growth like the moustouche and the beard. The hair is thicker than usual on the limbs. It may occur due to the polycystic ovary syndrome or due to certain medications.

Now coming back to how to remove body hair; techniques galore. Some of the popular methods of removing body hair are:

Shaving: It is the cheapest and by far, the easiest way to remove hair from body. You can do shaving on your own and need not visit a salon. Your shaving kit must have a razor, a shaving cream/shower gel and a hot running shower. But body hair removal through shaving is not long lasting, let alone permanent. Hair grows back within hours and prolonged shaving may make your hair rough and coarse.

Waxing: Though, waxing is one of the most painful methods, some women swear by it. One of the many advantages of waxing is that it slows down the process of hair regrowth and also helps in removing dead skin cells. It takes 3 to 8 weeks for hair to grow back. In this procedure, heated wax is applied on an unwanted patch of hair, then a soft cloth is placed over the area and is yanked off in the opposite direction. Be careful not to overheat the wax or you may burn yourself badly. Removing body hair through waxing requires hair to be 1/8 of an inch long to get the maximum effect.

Depilatory Creams: It is also one of the quickest and the cheapest methods to remove body hair. These creams contain chemicals which have alkali and they burn the protein structure of the hair. Here also, hair needs to be of certain length to get the maximum effect and lasts up to 7 days. But depilatory creams may also induce third degree burns and skin rashes.

Electrolysis: If you want to remove body hair permanently, electrolysis might be a good option for you. But electrolysis is very expensive and may require a number of sittings. The process involves a combination of heat and electricity that destroys hair follicles.

Laser: It is another permanent hair removal procedure. Many women reported that upto 80% of their hair disappeared after two visits which proves that it is quite effective. But laser hair removal is also pretty expensive and painful and may require a series of treatments.

These are a few regular procedures to remove body hair. Some of the unconventional methods are:

Threading – If you want to shape your eyebrows and remove some of the unwanted hair in your upper lip or chin area, you can go for threading. Even the smallest and the thinnest of hairs are removed by it but it is quite painful.

Bleaching – It is not exactly a hair removal method but helps to make the hair less noticeable. The process involves applying a chemical in the desired area to remove pigmentation.

Plucking – A pair of tweezers is required for the purpose. It is quite effective but can be very time consuming.

Sugar Waxing – It is similar to the process involving heated wax with the exception that here a caramel-like substance is spread on the skin. This sugary substance is also easier to rinse off in water.

Improvements are being made everyday which means that you no longer have to be content with stubbly legs. But before that, do try some of these techniques of the removal of body hair at home or get it done professionally because there is nothing like the feeling of soft, smooth and silky skin.

At first you probably thought that the intense pain was just your period. That’s what most women think. If you read the article on the more common symptoms of ovarian cysts and it didn’t hit home with your symptoms, then check out this article and video about ruptured ovarian cysts…

Here are some of the top symptom indicating ruptured ovarian cysts.

Severe sharp pain

Headache

Nausea

Dizziness

Bleeding

Bloating

Complications may include:

Fluid excaping into the abdominal cavity; this is dangerous because the fluids in the cyst may be toxic bacteria. Once the fluid is in your abdomen then the fluid is able to find its way into the bloodstream which could lead to sepsis.

Infection; inflammation may occur if the blood supply to the ovaries is impeded and this in turn can lead to infection.

Hemorrhage; some cysts have blood in them, if this is leaked into the abdominal cavity it is a hemorrhage. You are bleeding internally.

Infertility; if the ruptured cysts adhere to the ovaries the ability of the ovaries to release eggs may be diminished. This was the most disturbing part for me as I still wanted to have children.

Watch this video on removing an ovarian cyst.

Bursted Ovarian Cyst: Symptoms of Bursting Ovarian Cyst

Ovarian cysts are small sac-like structures that are surrounded by a thin membrane and develop within or on the surface of an ovary. They are usually benign and do not cause any problem, but sometimes they grow in size and then rupture, which is known as the bursting of ovarian cysts. To know about the symptoms produced by bursted ovarian cysts, read on.

Bursted ovarian cyst refers to the bursting or rupture of cysts or small fluid filled sacs, that develop within or on the surface of the ovaries. Women have two ovaries that release an egg in each month during their reproductive age. An egg is usually formed within a small structure, known as a follicle, which usually bursts when the egg is released. An ovarian cyst is developed when either the follicle fails to release the egg or when even after releasing the egg, the follicle does not burst. Generally, the follicle fails to release the egg due to a deficiency of the luteinizing hormone.

Most of the ovarian cysts are small and harmless and do not cause any problem. Sometimes they shrink in size and then subside on their own. However, in some instances, ovarian cysts may grow in size and ultimately burst, releasing blood and other contents accumulated within them. Such a situation may produce some severe symptoms that demand immediate medical attention.

Symptoms of Bursted Ovarian Cyst

An agonizing pain in the lower abdomen and excessive vaginal bleeding not related to menstruation, are the common symptoms of a bursted ovarian cyst. The severe pain can be felt throughout the entire pelvic region and is generally greater than the normal pain experienced during regular menstruation. The pain results due to the spilling of the contents of a cyst in the abdominal cavity caused by its rupture, which cause inflammation and irritation of the peritoneum (the thin lining of the abdominal cavity). The pain will be more severe if the cysts are very large in size. Vaginal bleeding would also be heavier than usual menstrual bleeding.

Irregular menstruation is another important symptom of a bursted ovarian cyst. So highly irregular periods with associated problems or complications like excessive weight gain, acne and emotional disturbances should be immediately attended to. As some of the ovarian cysts grow in size, they put pressure on the bladder, and may produce symptoms like a frequent urge to urinate and discomfort, while actual bursting of a cyst can cause acute pain during urination. Some other symptoms of bursting ovarian cysts are nausea, vomiting, dizziness and fainting. A woman may also experience some physical changes like weight gain and breast tenderness, in the case of ruptured ovarian cysts.

There can be several reasons behind the development of ovarian cysts. As for example, factors like genetics, irregularity in the normal ovulation process, a poor diet that contains large amounts of carbohydrates, junk foods and sugar in place of fresh vegetables and fruits, a weak immune system and resistance to insulin, are believed to play a crucial role in the development of cysts in the ovaries.

The treatment for bursted ovarian cysts depends on the severity of the condition and size of the cysts. However, bursting of the cysts is not a life threatening condition. Nevertheless, it needs immediate attention, as the formation of ovarian cysts can sometimes lead to infertility. So if you have observed any of the symptoms of ovarian cyst, then it is time to consult your physician to avoid agonizing pain, bleeding and the several other complications associated with the bursting of ovarian cysts.
